The Plot
Based on actual events that occured during World War Two. This ten episode story follows US Paratroopers 'Easy Company' from their training in the UK, to the landings on Normandy on D-Day, right through to the end of the war. The key character throughout is Richard Winters, the character played by Damian Lewis. Mr Winters and some of the other veterans were allowed to oversee the production of this mini series.
