My thoughts
As I am not a Christian, the biblical aspect to this story was not central to my watching it. I am only vaguely aquainted with the Noah's Ark story, so cannot comment on whether the interpretation was accurate. I found this to be an interesting film, raising questions about whether 'man' is of benefit to this planet. There was one line spoken by 'God' about not destroying mankind, as we would be able to destroy ourselves quite well on our own. I cannot argue with that quote... This story does raise some interesting philosophical questions about our role on Earth, and personally I wouldn't be surprised if a God out there somewhere were to decide that enough was enough and inflict some sort of poetic justice on us. Us humans can be very selfish, evil and destructive... will we learn our lesson before it's too late...? [Lizzie]
